Group C Carset Version 2 09/05/99

Please follow the instructions carefully for installing this carset so that all competitors will compete under identical circumstances.

1.First check to see that you do not have more than 125 Trk files in your Trucks directory or the complete carset will not load...there is a ceiling within the game for the number of TRK files that can exist in the directory...move any surplus you have to a different directory.

2.unzip all files into your Sierra/Nr1999/Trucks directory.(or wherever your particular directory is if you are using different names).

3.Print out or write down the pitlane.txt file.(this is the order in which the competitors should appear in the list and determines pit locations)you will need this to re assemble the set after inserting your car.

4.Place your car at the top of the Group C list(in the Driver info menu
within the game). Now re-assemble the list adding the drivers in the order found in the pitlane.txt file that you printed or wrote down...(you did do that right?)as you add the cars ..remember NOT to include your car that came with the carset.Once they are all in, you should have 28 cars including your own at the top of the list. You may now delete two files if you wish jed.trk and your trk file that came with the set...its easily found..C99XXYY.trk(XX is your initials,YY is your car #).

5.adjust the skill settings on your car to the following:

             Aggresion 599 600
             Drag 150 160
             Power 390 450
             Traction 450 510

these are the settings that came with the patch and are to be used.

Please Note:If you are New to Group C and therefore do not have your car included in the carset, simply replace the Jed car with your own. This however will give you one more car in the carset...thefore you must set the game menu to the limit as specified in the race settings as posted prior to the race and will force the game to drop the last car on the list.

Good Luck to all this Season, i hope you find that this carset will compliment the Tptcc99 patch, cuz its a GREAT sim.
